Where Central Asia Meets the Mediterranean
FROM THE SILK ROAD TO THE MEDITERRANEAN
For the First Time in Italy. For the First Time in Lecce.

This autumn, the historic Piazza Sant'Oronzo will become a meeting place where ancient craft traditions meet contemporary design.
For the first time in Italy, the united cultural and craft heritage of Central Asia and the Caucasus will be presented as one inspiring exhibition. These lands, once connected by the legendary Silk Road, have given birth to extraordinary artistic traditions, unique techniques, and timeless craftsmanship for thousands of years.
For three days, master artisans and designers will showcase felt art, embroidery, textiles, ceramics, jewelry, designer accessories, and contemporary craft and design, demonstrating how cultural heritage continues to inspire modern creativity.
The International Craft & Design Festival is the first international project of ECCD (Eurasian Council for Craft & Design) following the organization's official registration in the Netherlands. It marks an important step toward building a new cultural bridge between Eurasia and the Mediterranean.
The Festival is held within the framework of Mediterranean Fashion Week 2026 and is proudly presented by ECCD in partnership with Mad Mood Fashion Week Milano.
We warmly invite the people of Lecce, visitors to the Puglia region, and travelers from around the world to discover the craftsmanship of the Silk Road in the very heart of the Mediterranean.
